Berlin-Spandau, Heerstr. 442/444
March 10, 2017 at 1 pm
On March 10, 2017, the second “Commons in the Neighborhood” conference will take place from 1 pm. Markus Hofmann from the Innovation Center for Mobility and Social Change (InnoZ) at the EUREF Campus Berlin will give a certainly interesting keynote on “Infrastructures – Infra-cultures: Commons for interconnected life in the neighborhood and the city”. Markus Hofmann spent many years in corporate marketing at DB Mobility Logistics AG as Senior Strategist for Innovation & Infrastructure and is the author of the recently published book “A Theory of Modern Commons – On the way to a system-connecting infra-culture”. Wolfgang Serbser (C.E.U.D. board member) is responsible for the introduction and moderation of the discussion in a small forum limited to 30 guests.

The conference venue is the BMUB model project “Professional pilot and maintenance – Spandau 2020”, which includes, among other things, the large housing complex Heerstrasse Nord in Spandau. The significance of the infrastructures as commons for the economic location of Spandau will be emphasized by the deputy head of economic development in his comment.

Afterwards, on a neighborhood walk, we will specifically investigate how these infra-cultures affect the Heerstrasse Nord neighborhood, which has been designated as an area with special development needs for 50 years.
There are still a few places left. As participation is by invitation only, please use the registration form on the third page of the program.
