This article is about the Bellbird House, a single-story family home located in the Bellbird Area of Blackburn, Australia. The site is surrounded by native vegetation and is a critical habitat for birdlife and animals. The design of the home was inspired by the natural landscape and features abundant north-facing windows that provide views of the trees and allow natural light to flood the interior. The home is also designed with passive and active sustainable principles in mind, achieving a 7.1-star NatHERS rating.
